Death Battle: Katniss Everdeen vs. Lawrence Mundy

I decided to put together the ultimate in archer vs. archer combat. The battle itself is coming soon!

Katniss Everdeen
Age: 16
Bio: Having volunteered to take part in "The Hunger Games", a government-sanctioned gladiatorial contest to the death among randomly chosen teenagers, in her sister's place, she must use her skills as a huntsman and tracker to survive.
Weapons:
Long Range: Steel Bow. This is her primary weapon. She has lifelong skill with bows, having had to use them to hunt game. She has demonstrated the ability to hit birds in-flight without even hesitating, and sniper-like precision in the arena.
Mid Range: Arrow Shank. She can further use the arrows as a mid-range stabbing weapon if she finds herself too close to draw her bow.
Short Range: Survival Knife. While this knife has proven invaluable during the Hunger Games, where she had to cut various things to survive, it is also a great close-quarters defensive weapon. However, she has only recently started training in close-quarters, as she had had no need of it back home.
Special: Tracker Jackers. When she finds a hive of these genetically engineered bees, she can cut the hive down on top of her enemies. This process is usually successful at clearing out enemies, given the long cutting time can be compensated for and the enemy is positioned correctly. The Tracker Jackers themselves inflict stings that cause powerful hallucinations before the target finally passes out, and without proper medical attention, dies.
X Factor: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, especially when that woman has a lifetime of experience behind her. Her desire to return home to her family is a strong motivator as well.

Lawrence Mundy
Age: approx. 40
Bio: In his former life as a tracker of dangerous game in the unforgiving Australian outback, the Sniper would spend months by himself. Now, he has taken his experience onto the battlefield as a mercenary.
Weapons:
Long Range: The Huntsman. This wooden bow is deceptively powerful, capable of ending even a Heavy with one shot. Mundy has demonstrated ability with this weapon, being able to hit the heads of jumping and running Scouts, however he is a recent convert to bow hunting. His hands tremble if he draws too long, and the process of drawing and firing visibly encumbers him.
Mid Range: Jarate. The Sniper, as long as he never runs out of coffee and mason jars, will never run out of acidic piss. These grenades of yellow shower, though relatively harmless by themselves, have a tendency of increasing damage done by any weapon that hits the sodden victim.
Short Range: Bushwacka. This kukri knife is more like a short sword in proportion. Its curved blade increase its chopping power, while its reach will make any stab wound harder to avoid. It also does further increased damage to any target soaked in Jarate. The Sniper has demonstrated no ability to block blows however.
Special: Razorback. This combination taser and shield, while it breaks after blocking one blow, gives the attacker a nasty shock.
X Factor: He's been a huntsman longer than his opponent has been alive. He's been out on the battlefield and survived plenty of times on end. He shows very little regard for human life, and will willingly end a life for money or other gain. However, he has left his weapon of decades' use, the rifle, behind in favor of a bow.

Steel Bow vs. (Huntsman)
-The Huntsman has guaranteed critical hit on headshot.

(Arrow Shank) vs. Jarate
-Actual killing capacity vs. a mere crit boost to any weapon that hits the sodden victim.

Survival Knife vs. (Bushwacka)
-Short sword always beats dagger.

(Tracker Jackers) vs. Razorback
-Hundreds of LSD bees versus one-time shield. While there is evidence that the Sniper may not be as affected by the Tracker Jackers, the venom may still at least wound him.
