"I feel a disturbance in the Force," I said to General Kota. We were both in my ship, the Rogue Shadow, heading for a planet previously unknown that had just showed up on the scanners. "The weird thing is...Not all of it is Force-sensitive."

"It must come from another galaxy then," replied Kota back. "I sense Force-blindness as well, young Padawan. We must find out what causes this."

As the Rogue Shadow passed into the atmosphere of the planet, I could see out the viewport something that defied all galactic knowledge. There were three combatants fighting atop a platform that floated above a pool of water. One wore a green tunic, and brandished some metal blade that he wielded like a lightsaber. The second was some sort of flexible red orb that kept swallowing its enemies. The third guy was just being knocked off the platform as I was coming in (with the cloaking system active of course), and I couldn't get a good look at him...until he reappeared suddenly on a smaller, higher platform. I couldn't see much more than a bulky orange armor suit with a silver tube on the right arm.

Since these things were Force-blind, I had to describe them to Kota. "We must stand back and watch the proceedings," Kota said to me. Well, he can't watch, he's blind. And with no Force sensitivity anywhere, Kota couldn't use his usual Force Sight worth anything. But I watched anyway, and they kept fighting for hours on end, Kota finally said to me, "You must find out the cause of this."

I piloted the Rogue Shadow above the little stage of combat, and opened the airlock as I grabbed my prized dual lightsabers. "Gladly," I said, finally leaping down into the melee.

I landed right in front of the orange suited guy. He raised his silver tube at me, and I barely felt the Force flow through me in time to block some sort of energy shot from that tube. I did a backflip away, and sprayed him with my Force Lightning.

But I was jumped from behind by the green tunic guy, and was bashed to the ground by a giant plate he hefted with his right arm. He slashed his blade down on me with his left, but I got my Lightsabers up in time to catch it. Strangely though, my Lightsabers didn't cut through the metal! How is this possible?

I would have asked Kota over my comlink, but then I was too busy being drawn in by a powerful wind. How tiny pink orbs inhale that forcefully I have no clue. All I know is that I was drawn into the insides of the creature, who swallowed me whole without chewing. I reignited my Lightsabers, which I had extinguished earlier to prevent myself being cut on them, and tried to cut that son of a Wookiee to pieces from the inside.

But just as I did so, I was forcefully spit out, and so forcefully I almost fell off the platform! Only the graces of knowing how to summon the Force allowed me to jump in midair and grab onto the edge. The orange-suited man walked up to where I hung off, apparently to shoot me off the platform for good. Thank the Force for midichlorians! A surge of energy flowed through me and into my arms, and I pushed up hard. I ignited my lightsabers mid-jump, and I slashed down at him as I somersaulted above his head. That did it. I sent the man sprawling off the edge, and although he tried a mid-air recovery flip of his own his wasn't enough. One down...

And the pink orb from earlier comes at me with two lightsabers of his own! What the? No time now. I knelt down and let the Force build up within me. As both of my remaining opponents charged at me, I let loose a Force Repulse, and sent them both flying back off the platform.

That's how I won my first Smash brawl. (I didn't know this at the time.) By extension, that's how you could say I got here, fighting people I don't even know where they come from. None of them know anything about Kashyyyk, or of Coruscant, or of any major planet in the whole galaxy! And when they mention their places, it's always something like "Mushroom Kingdom" or "Hyrule Kingdom" or "Zebes" or something. Never heard of them. (Fun fact: The person that said Zebes was the orange suit I encountered earlier. "He" is in fact a she, and she claims to be a well-known Bounty Hunter. Says the girl that doesn't even know who Boba Fett is.)

I shall continue these Brawls to the death. Is it a wild bantha chase? Maybe. Maybe not. But if it is, it sure is one fun and addicting one...

Character Name: Galen Marek (aka Starkiller)

Why should Starkiller be in Brawl? Well, I'll tell you why. He simply kicks plenty of ass. He is a notable character from a notable game on a Nintendo system, and the best part is? Two words, buddy: Star Wars. That's right, that'll get plenty of people excited. Nintendo drops in a Star Wars character, Lucasfilm and Ninty split a metric shitload of moolah. And WE in the meantime get to use the Force on our favorite game characters! It's a win/win/win, what more can you ask for?
