Alright, time to get this show on the road, I thought as my finger struck the Missile trigger. A projectile streaked out of the Arm Cannon attached to my arm and impacted the red door ahead of me. The door was blown off its hinges, and I stepped inside to find something so familiar, yet at the same time so very alien.
The first obstacle was the array of big red life-support tubes blocking the passage ahead. I hit the trigger again, and another crimson explosive rocketed its way to the target. It may have been a first obstacle, but damned if I've ever seen a tougher one...HOLY CRAP!
I saw the Turret pop out of its hatch on the wall just in time to avoid its burst of machine gun fire. Switching temporarily to my Ice Beam, I struck it again and again with shots that normally froze enemies solid. But it absorbed ten shots and not so much as a lone crystal
Starkiller: Smash Unleashed"I feel a disturbance in the Force," I said to General Kota. We were both in my ship, the Rogue Shadow, heading for a planet previously unknown that had just showed up on the scanners. "The weird thing is...Not all of it is Force-sensitive."
"It must come from another galaxy then," replied Kota back. "I sense Force-blindness as well, young Padawan. We must find out what causes this."
As the Rogue Shadow passed into the atmosphere of the planet, I could see out the viewport something that defied all galactic knowledge. There were three combatants fighting atop a platform that floated above a pool of water. One wore a green tunic, and brandished some metal blade that he wielded like a lightsaber. The second was some sort of flexible red orb that kept swallowing its enemies. The third guy was just being knocked off the platform as I was coming in (with the cloaking system active of course), and I couldn't get a good look at him...until he reappeared suddenly on a smaller, higher platform.

Jack was used to this feeling. He could only see out of one eye (his left), and it felt as though entire body segments were missing, mainly because they actually were missing.
Then, after a few seconds, the cybernetics finally finished powering up. Jack could feel again, he could move again, his right eye came to him in a flash.
Jack, still a little tired, nonetheless got out of bed and took a drink of water, after which he walked out into the corridor and took it to the kitchen. Arriving there, he saw that he was, strangely enough, alone. Usually his daughter Krystal was up at this time, playing a video game on the giant TV screen in the adjacent rec room. Usually a few other members were up too. Hell, everyone was usually up before noon! Jack looked at the kitchen clock, and it read 12:12.
"OK, what the Hell is going on?" asked Jack aloud to himself. He went to one of the kitchen drawers, and from that particular one withdrew a Colt 1911 handgun. H
Duke Nukem, Smash NewcomerI was just resting in my Duke Cave when I was awoken by my computer. It warned me that something bad was happening and it couldn't figure out what.
So I went outside, expecting aliens infesting Las Vegas. I was in for one HUGE surprise...
"What the hell?" I said, retreating back into the Duke Cave to retrieve my prized gold-plated M1911 pistol. I loaded it, grabbed a few extra mags, and again ventured out. I wasn't dreaming, it was real, alright. "What are those alien bastards up to now?"
After walking around this strange land where the Vegas Strip should have been, I spotted a woman in a tight blue suit. Maybe she needed a little...help, I'll call it. That tiny little gun of hers wouldn't last a minute against Assault Commanders, to say nothing of Pig Cops. I ran over to her position...
And I found myself knocked back from behind. I got up, taking out the Shotgun I always kept on me. Looking around, I saw my assailant: A fat Italian man in a red jumpsuit. No big deal. I jum
Upgrades 7Commander Link, his men, and Samus were outgunned in the field. And all that was facing them was the lone skiff!
"Let's get out of here!" suggested Link over the noise.
"Good idea!" Samus replied. "I'll cover you! You get your men to that door!"
"Gotcha!" Link gestured to his men as Samus moved to the other side of the skiff. Concentrating her fire, Samus managed to Missile one of those turrets to pieces.
But the other one was the problem. The turret had eaten all 30 of her Missiles, leaving her with a Beam weapon as her only defense. She searched frantically for a solution to this problem of running out of firepower, and found it immediately.
She was staring right at the engines.
It was at that moment that one of the other Troopers, seeing the exact thing, decided to use his weapon. To Samus' surprise, three small hovering machines launched themselves from that Trooper's backpack. As the Trooper guided them, the drones ascended to the height of the skiff, and fired energy blasts at th
